FAQ

Common questions

Which countertop material lasts longest with the least maintenance?

Quartz requires no sealing and is the most forgiving for daily kitchen use. Porcelain slab is also zero-maintenance and is the only fully UV-stable option for outdoor surfaces. Granite is highly durable but needs periodic sealing. Marble is the most demanding to maintain.

How much do countertops cost installed?

Quartz typically runs $55-$100 per square foot installed, granite $60-$110, marble $65-$115, and porcelain slab $75-$130. The estimator on this page applies those ranges to your size.

How long does a countertop project take?

Most projects run two to four weeks from the first showroom visit to install day. That covers material selection, on-site templating after cabinets are set, in-house fabrication (typically 5 to 7 business days) and installation scheduling.

Can I see the actual slab before you cut it?

Yes. For natural stone we pull full slabs at our Auburndale showroom so you see the material that will be fabricated for your home. We do not finalize a natural stone order from a sample chip or a website photo.
